[Financial News] Jaejeong Accounting Corporation's lecture in Busan on real estate tax rules and inheritance and gift tax-saving strategies ended successfully.
Jaejeong Accounting Corporation said on the 1st that it held the lecture at BEXCO in Busan together with the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Association of Certified Public Accountants.
The lecture began at 9:30 a.m. and ran for about two hours under the theme, "Recent Real Estate Tax Rules and Inheritance and Gift Tax-Saving Strategies." Na Cheol-ho, head of Jaejeong Accounting Corporation, gave the lecture, followed by individual questions and consultations from attendees.
With real estate prices recently rising and society aging, inheritance and gift issues are emerging as practical asset-management concerns not only for high-net-worth individuals but also for ordinary families. Interest in related tax-saving strategies was especially high, as changes in future tax burdens are expected in the process of holding and disposing of real estate under the 2026 Tax Reform Plan announced on March 3.
The lecture covered topics including △ the 2026 Tax Reform Plan and recent revisions to inheritance and gift taxes on real estate △ the difference between inheritance tax and reserved portion claims, as well as bequests and wills △ the application of appraised values to high-priced homes, non-residential real estate and vacant land △ appropriate pre-gift ratios △ the Business Succession Deduction and business succession △ family corporations △ transactions between related parties, including loans, free use, collateral and below-market transfers △ major tax audits related to inheritance and gifts.
An official from Jaejeong Accounting Corporation said, "This lecture drew strong interest not only from wealthy individuals in the Busan area but also from groups of tax professionals, including certified public accountants," adding, "It was also meaningful because it marked the 10th anniversary of the publication of 'Prepare for Inheritance Now' and the release of the new book 'Inheritance and Gifts Made Easy Through Webtoons.'"
The lecture series will begin in Busan on the 1st and then move sequentially to EXCO in Daegu on the 3rd, Oakwood Premier Coex Center Seoul on the 5th, Kim Daejung Convention Center in Gwangju on the 8th, and Daejeon Convention Center on the 15th.
