KOBC to Hire 12 New Regular Employees in the Second Half of This Year

[Financial News] Korea Ocean Business Corporation (KOBC) has launched an open recruitment process for 12 new regular employees in the second half of this year.
KOBC said on the 1st that it will accept applications for its open recruitment of 12 new regular employees for the second half of 2026 through its dedicated recruitment website until the 15th.


This recruitment will select 12 general regular employees at Grade 6. By category, the positions include nine in the general track, two in the veterans track, and one in information technology.
To improve transparency and fairness in hiring, the corporation will again use a blind recruitment process that does not reveal age, education, region of origin, or gender. Anyone who meets the required qualifications, including the language proficiency standards set by the corporation, and has no disqualifying factors may apply.
Starting with this second-half recruitment, KOBC will introduce an optional subject system for the written test in the general and veterans tracks, allowing applicants to choose either business administration or economics. Until now, the general track had used an integrated major test, while the IT track had used an IT major test.
The written exam subjects for the general and veterans tracks have now been further divided. The goal is to assess applicants' job capabilities in greater depth and strengthen a job-centered hiring system.
The selection process will proceed in the order of document screening, written test, first interview, and second interview. Final successful candidates will be announced in mid-December and are scheduled to begin work at the end of that month.
Final hires will work at the Busan headquarters. Specific department assignments will be decided through interviews after selection.
