[Financial News] It has been confirmed that YouTuber Park Wi, who drew criticism for releasing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage of a fall accident while getting off a Korea Train eXpress (KTX) train, has additionally taken down 13 videos framed as social experiments.
As of the 1st, on Park Wi's YouTube channel 'Wiracle,' 13 videos were successively set to private after the video titled 'Why I Released the CCTV Footage,' which covered the KTX incident, was deleted on the 23rd of last month.
The private videos reportedly included titles such as 'How a Person with Lower-Body Paralysis Rides the KTX' and 'It Only Makes Me Sigh,' both uploaded in 2022. At the time, Park Wi had been producing content about public perceptions of people with disabilities under themes such as 'social experiment camera' and 'uncomfortable truth.'
Those videos have recently come back into focus amid controversy over criticism of a public service worker. Critics questioned whether the production style was appropriate, as it compared the actions of citizens who offered help or gave up wheelchair space with overseas cases and added negative captions.
Earlier, Park Wi uploaded CCTV footage of a fall accident that occurred while he was getting off a KTX train in a wheelchair, only to become embroiled in controversy. He was reported to have said in the video that he was angry because the worker had placed a foot on the ramp, and that wheelchair users should be looked after more carefully.
However, many said it was an excessive response to post the video on a channel with more than 1 million subscribers, even though the Social Service Personnel had repeatedly apologized at the scene. As the controversy continued, scheduled lectures and talk concerts were canceled one after another, and the channel's subscriber count fell to the 980,000 range. 
As he removed the videos, Park Wi apologized, saying, "I failed to consider the position of the worker, who had politely apologized," and "My way of delivering the message was inadequate, and I had not thought it through enough."
