Gangwon Techno Park Joins Happy Sharing Relay, Helps Vulnerable Families in Sinbuk-eup

[Financial News, Chuncheon = Reporter Kim Gi-seop] Gangwon Techno Park lent support to a sharing campaign that helps neighbors in need.
According to Gangwon Techno Park on the 1st, employees delivered donations they had voluntarily raised as the 2026 Generation-Connecting Happy Sharing Relay was held that day at Saembat Market in Sinbuk-eup, Chuncheon. The campaign was launched to build a warm community that connects generations and people, while also closing gaps in the welfare safety net.
This year’s campaign runs from August through December, and a focused fundraising tour will take place across 25 eup, myeon and dong areas during September. The money raised will be used to support neighbors in need in the areas where it is collected.
Gangwon Techno Park said it agreed with the purpose of the campaign and donated the money its employees pooled together under the institution’s name. It also applied for regular sponsorship, rather than making a one-time donation, to take part in continued sharing. The donation will be used for living expenses, medical costs and housing support for vulnerable families in crisis who are struggling due to unemployment, disasters, illness or accidents, with the funds collected in Sinbuk-eup, where the main office is located.
Huh Jang-hyun, head of Gangwon Techno Park, said, "I hope the employees’ sincerity will provide a small help to neighbors in need in Sinbuk-eup," adding, "We will continue to work steadily on sharing and social responsibility together with the local community."
