Korea Real Estate Board Provides K-apt Training for Gyeonggi Province Officials Handling Apartment Complex Audits

[Financial News] Korea Real Estate Board held a practical training session for audit officials so they could use data from the K-apt Apartment Management Information System in the supervision and management of apartment complexes in cities and counties across Gyeonggi Province.
KREB said on the 1st that it conducted the K-apt training on the 27th of last month at the Gyeonggi Province Human Resources Development Institute for officials in charge of apartment complex audits in cities and counties across Gyeonggi Province.
The session introduced the collection and disclosure system for complex information, maintenance fees, maintenance records, bidding information and external audit results stored in K-apt. It also covered how local government officials can access and use that information in the management and supervision of apartment complexes.
In particular, the training focused on how to check and compare maintenance fees by complex, how to review bidding records and facility maintenance histories, and how to use data from the K-apt data room in audit work.
Since 2015, KREB has been carrying out the K-apt development and operation work under commission from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Under the Multi-Family Housing Management Act, it collects and discloses apartment management information, including maintenance fees.
