[Financial News] NH NongHyup Financial Group has launched a financial hub in Jeonbuk State. The group plans to support local companies and nurture talent through a comprehensive financial support system that mobilizes the capabilities of its major affiliates.
On the 1st, NH Financial Group held the launch ceremony for the NH Financial Hub at NongHyup Bank's Jeonbuk regional headquarters in Jeonju-si. Centered on the hub, the group plans to build a cooperative system among its affiliates in banking, insurance, securities, asset management, capital, and venture investment. Specifically, the bank will handle corporate lending and investment and consulting for agri-food companies, insurance will provide corporate insurance, securities will support corporate finance, and venture investment will identify and invest in innovative companies. The goal is to combine the capabilities of NH Financial Group's affiliates and provide one-stop financial solutions for companies.
NH-Amundi Asset Management will open an office in Jeonju to further strengthen cooperation with the National Pension Service (NPS), and it will establish an industry-academia partnership system through a memorandum of understanding with JBNU. The company also plans to provide 100 million won in scholarships to foster advanced strategic industries and convergent talent, while operating financial education and youth internship programs so local talent can grow into financial professionals.
NongHyup Bank will make special contributions of 1.7 billion won to the Jeonbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation and 1 billion won to KOTEC as part of the launch of the NH Financial Hub. The bank expects this to expand the supply of funds to the Jeonbuk region.
Lee Chan-woo, chairman of NongHyup Financial Group Inc., said, "The NH Financial Hub will become a comprehensive financial infrastructure that brings together the specialized capabilities of all NongHyup Financial Group affiliates to provide financial solutions optimized for the future strategic industries of Jeonbuk State."
