[Financial News] "Creating an environment where users can work quietly and stably while fully unleashing performance. That is the true goal of ThinkStation."
Lenovo Korea Ltd. said this while introducing the ThinkStation P4, a professional desktop workstation launched on the 1st. The ThinkStation P4 is designed to deliver top-tier performance in its class, allowing users to work reliably in environments that require large-scale data processing and complex computations. It uses the latest technology from AMD to improve response speed and control heat with liquid cooling.

The ThinkStation P4 is aimed at fields that require high-performance computing, such as design, engineering, content creation and data analysis, as AI and data-driven work environments continue to spread.
Shin Kyu-sik, CEO of Lenovo Korea Ltd., said, "As AI technology spreads, demand for high-performance computing based on on-device AI is rising rapidly," adding, "The ThinkStation P4 will boost productivity across a wide range of fields by delivering powerful computing performance."

The ThinkStation P4 is the world's first workstation to feature the AMD Ryzen PRO 9000 Series processor. In particular, models equipped with AMD 3D V-Cache technology deliver fast response speeds for data processing and computing tasks.
For graphics, users can choose either the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation GPU or the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q Workstation GPU. It supports up to 96GB of GDDR7 ECC memory and delivers up to 4,000 TOPS of AI computing performance based on the GPU. This allows the system to handle demanding workloads such as large-scale AI inference, 3D rendering and simulation.
Heat management has also been improved. For models equipped with the top-end processor, Lenovo has applied a liquid cooling system for the first time in a workstation. With thermal design supporting CPUs of up to 170W, the system maintains stable performance and low noise even during long hours of heavy workloads.

Lee Hyeong-woo, executive director at Lenovo Korea Ltd., said, "The key challenge in the AI era is not simply to increase computing power, but to sustain that performance," adding, "How power and heat are managed is important, and Lenovo has paid close attention to this issue and continued to invest in it."
Lenovo Korea Ltd. also highlighted its long-standing relationship with AMD. The executive director said, "Since unveiling the world's first AMD-based workstation in 2020, we have continued our collaboration with AMD to this day," adding, "The liquid cooling in the ThinkStation P4 was made possible through close cooperation with AMD. With this product, we have further expanded the options for AMD workstations."
The ThinkStation P4 also offers expandability with a compact chassis of about 30 liters. It can be equipped with up to six storage devices, allowing storage capacity to expand to as much as 48TB. For security, it uses Lenovo's integrated security solution, Lenovo ThinkShield, providing BIOS-level security features, data erasure functions and privacy protection.
