1,290 Homes in Budae-dong, Cheonan... POSCO E&C to Sell 'THE SHARP Cheonan Lacwon' in October

POSCO E&C said on the 1st that it plans to launch sales in October for 'THE SHARP Cheonan Lacwon,' located in the Buseong 2 Urban Development District around 354 Budae-dong, Seobuk District, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.
The complex will consist of 10 buildings, ranging from two basement levels to 37 stories above ground, with a total of 1,290 households. By unit size, it includes 374 units of 84 square meters A, 306 units of 84 square meters B, 408 units of 102 square meters, and 202 units of 118 square meters. The layout is centered on mid- to large-sized units that homebuyers prefer.
The Seongseong living area is an emerging residential district of about 25,000 households centered on Seongseong Lake Park, which covers roughly 528,140 square meters. The Budae-dong area has the advantage of offering both the existing urban infrastructure of Dujeong-dong and Sinbu-dong and the pleasant waterside environment of Seongseong Lake Park.
Transportation, education, and convenience conditions are also strong. A new station on Seoul Subway Line 1, Buseong Station, is planned within about 500 meters of the complex. Access to KTX-Sancheon and Super Rapid Train (SRT) services at Cheonan–Asan station, as well as Cheonan IC, will be convenient. Large shopping facilities such as Costco Wholesale Corporation and E-Mart are nearby, and there are plans to build new elementary and middle schools in the Buseong district. Residents will also have easy access to the academy district in the Seongseong area. In addition, the site is close to major industrial complexes, including Samsung SDI's Cheonan plant and the Cheonan General Industrial Complex, offering strong proximity between home and work.
The project also stands out for its differentiated design features. With a south-facing layout, the 84 square meter A, 102 square meter, and 118 square meter units use a four-bay, slab-type design to maximize natural light and ventilation. In particular, all 118 square meter units are oriented to the southwest, securing views of Seongseong Lake Park.
A sales official at POSCO E&C said, "It is a symbolic project that combines the pleasant waterside environment of Seongseong Lake Park with the premium of a large-scale complex from a top-tier brand." The official added, "We will deliver a highly refined residential space centered on actual living needs."
The model home will be set up in Dujeong-dong, Seobuk District, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, and is scheduled to open in October.
