Renault Korea Offers Free Warranty Extension of Up to 7 Years or 140,000 km

[Financial News] Renault Korea said on the 1st that starting in September, it will launch a new "7 years, 140,000 km" service, offering a free warranty extension of up to 7 years or 140,000 km to customers who purchase the Renault Filante and the 2027 Grand Koleos.
The service extends the new-car warranty for both the body and general parts, previously 3 years or 60,000 km, and major engine and powertrain components, previously 5 years or 100,000 km, to up to 7 years or 140,000 km.
To receive the benefits of the industry-leading free warranty extension service, customers must visit an official service network once a year after delivery for a free 12-point inspection and a paid engine oil change. However, customers who hold an engine oil exchange voucher as part of their purchase benefits may receive a free oil change. The existing new-car warranty terms will continue to apply to hybrid-specific parts, covered for 8 years or 160,000 km, and the high-voltage battery, covered for 10 years or 200,000 km.
Loyalty benefits for repeat customers have also been expanded. The previous flat benefit of 500,000 won has been increased to as much as 1 million won, and the eligible family range has been broadened from direct relatives of the customer and spouse to include siblings as well.
In addition, to mark the Chuseok holiday in September, customers who buy the Renault Filante can receive fuel cost support of up to 1.5 million won, depending on the production month, as well as accessories such as an electric sunshade. For the 2026 Grand Koleos, customers can choose between benefits that include fuel cost support of up to 3 million won, depending on the production month, or a package with a 7-year free warranty extension and seven engine oil set exchange vouchers.
Customers who own an older vehicle for at least five years and purchase the Renault Filante or Grand Koleos will receive an additional benefit of 500,000 won. For the Renault Arkana, customers buying the 1.6 GTe model can choose between a 36-month interest-free installment plan or fuel cost support of 2 million won.
