B2EN, overseas AI reference built with Rebellions aims to expand into the U.S. market

[Financial News]  B2EN, an AI and big data specialist, is moving to expand its global business based on an overseas public-sector AI project reference it built with Rebellions. As the government pushes to announce its first U.S. investment project in September, attention is turning to whether the overseas expansion of domestic AI and semiconductor companies will create new business opportunities.
According to B2EN on the 1st, the company is carrying out an AI-based digital administration project for the Mongolian Customs General Administration. It formed a consortium with Rebellions and VIRNECT through the National IT Industry Promotion Agency's NIPA program to support overseas expansion of AI semiconductors.
The project combines Rebellions' server AI semiconductors with B2EN's AI and data technologies to support HS code classification for imported goods and customs complaint handling.
The first-year demonstration was completed in December last year, and the project will continue through this year. Through this initiative, B2EN secured a reference for applying domestic AI semiconductors and its own data technology to a foreign government agency. In particular, the company expanded its relationship from fund investment in Rebellions to actual technology cooperation, which stands out.
As Rebellions is pursuing an IPO while also expanding globally, there is growing interest in whether its existing collaboration experience will lead to follow-up overseas projects.
The government's U.S. investment project is also a key variable. The first project is currently being discussed with a focus on the energy sector, but if cooperation later expands to advanced industries such as AI and semiconductors, opportunities for related companies to enter the U.S. market could also increase.
B2EN plans to seek new overseas business opportunities based on the collaboration model of "domestic AI semiconductors + data and AI software" that it validated in Mongolia.
A B2EN official said, "We have secured experience in actually building a business model overseas that combines domestic AI semiconductors with data and AI technologies." The official added, "We will expand global business opportunities by leveraging our existing partnerships and references."
