[Financial News] Bando Construction announced on the 1st that it will launch sales in October for 'Gyeyang New Town Kaive Ubora·Shigan,' a mixed-use complex combining the first privately sold apartments and commercial facilities in the third new town.
The project will be built in Incheon Gyeyang New Town's AC3 block, with 614 households, and AC4 block, with 496 households. It will consist of two basement levels to 15 above-ground floors, for a total of 1,110 apartment units and 203 commercial units. The units will range from 84 to 93 square meters, including 84, 92 and 93 square-meter layouts favored by end users. Unlike previous supply in the third new town, which has focused on public sales or public sales with private participation, this will be the first private-sale complex directly developed and built by a private construction company, drawing strong interest from buyers.
The complex offers strong access to Seoul and convenient proximity to workplaces. Using Bakchon Station on Incheon Subway Line 1, residents can reach Gimpo International Airport Station in just three stops. With transfers to the Airport Railroad and Seoul Subway Line 9, Magongnaru Station is four stops away, and major business districts in Seoul, including Yeouido and Gangnam, are easily accessible. Gyeyang New Town will also feature 'Gyeyang AX Park,' an advanced industrial corridor expected to be about 1.4 times the size of Pangyo, adding to its future value.
The residential environment and education infrastructure are also notable. A kindergarten, elementary school and middle school site is planned directly in front of the complex, creating a safe school zone. Nearby green space, four times the size of Yeouido Park, and 'Gyeyang Byori' (planned), a new linear park, will offer a pleasant eco-healing lifestyle. The complex will also include differentiated community facilities such as a fitness club, guest room and dry car wash, along with ample parking of 1.50 spaces per household.
The commercial facilities, a stay-type brand mall called 'Shigan,' will comprise 203 units in total, including 112 units in AC3 block and 91 units in AC4 block. With demand from about 18,000 households in the new town and foot traffic from the park in front of the complex, residents are expected to enjoy one-stop shopping and cultural activities within the complex.
The model home is scheduled to be set up in Dodang-dong, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.
