[Disclosure] Samsung Electro-Mechanics signs KRW 1 trillion MLCC supply deal with global major company

[Financial News] Samsung Electro-Mechanics disclosed on the 1st that it had signed a supply contract for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) worth KRW 1 trillion with a global major company.
The contract is valued at KRW 1.0722 trillion, the largest MLCC supply deal in Samsung Electro-Mechanics' history. It accounts for 9.5% of the company's most recent annual sales, and the contract period runs from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 next year.
Since May, Samsung Electro-Mechanics has successively signed long-term supply contracts worth about KRW 2.25 trillion for silicon capacitors and MLCCs for artificial intelligence servers.
