LH to Identify Care Needs During Housing Benefit Inspections in Gwangjin District Pilot Project

[Financial News] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) will check whether housing benefit recipients also need care services while inspecting their homes. Residents identified in the field will receive personalized care services after additional counseling in Gwangjin District, Seoul.
According to LH on the 1st, the pilot project linking integrated care with housing benefit home inspections in Gwangjin District will run for three months, from this month through November.
The project uses the on-site contact point of housing benefit inspections to identify residents in need of care at an early stage and connect them to local welfare services. The target group includes housing benefit recipients living in Gwangjin District, and LH home inspection staff and outside specialists will conduct the field surveys.
LH plans to pass the identified care recipients on to Gwangjin District. The district will provide tailored support after additional surveys and consultations.
An LH official said, "We will strengthen cooperation with local governments and regional housing welfare institutions to provide the services people truly need without blind spots."
