Kakao AI Sail to Host Technology Conference in Busan

[Financial News] Kakao Corp.'s regional AI talent and startup development initiative, Kakao AI Sail, will host the technology conference "Kakao AI Sail Summit 26" on the 29th at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center (BPEX). The event is expected to connect insights from domestic and international technology partners, helping energize the regional AI ecosystem and strengthen local companies' ability to enter global markets.
According to the industry on the 1st, the event will bring together about 800 participants, including founders, startup officials, students, and developers. Applications will be accepted until the 6th of this month.
At the conference, working-level staff from Kakao and its affiliates, technology experts from global companies, local founders, and academic specialists will give presentations. The keynote will introduce Kakao AI Sail's business direction and AI infrastructure. Subsequent sessions will cover Kakao Group's AI transformation strategy, industry-specific applications, a panel discussion with local founders, and solutions from global technology partners. At the global partner booths, attendees will be able to explore AI technologies and solutions firsthand and hold business consultations.
On the day of the event, an AI agent hackathon for aspiring founders, called "Ralphthon," will also be held. The program will use AI agents to validate ideas and create a demo-ready product in just one day. Students from the four science and technology institutes and local talent will take part.
Kakao AI Sail is a private-sector partnership body that supports the development of regional AI talent and corporate growth by combining Kakao Group's technology and business infrastructure with the research capabilities of the four science and technology institutes.
