Gangwon Art & Culture Foundation to Hold Event to Boost Culture Nuri Card Use Throughout September

【Financial News, Chuncheon = Kim Gi-seop】An event will be held for Culture Nuri Card users who spend their remaining balance or use at least 10,000 won, with coffee and chicken vouchers as prizes.
According to Gangwon Art & Culture Foundation on the 1st, the 2026 third Culture Nuri Card balance-use event will run from today through Sept. 30 for users in Gangwon Province. The event is designed to encourage card use and help users enjoy a wider range of cultural activities in daily life. To mark the 10th anniversary of the Culture Nuri Card, the foundation is promoting the character Pio and presenting the event under the theme "Make Pio Laugh," which likens the remaining balance to a "cultural seed."
Eligible participants are Gangwon Province users who spend at least 10,000 won in Culture Nuri Card subsidies during the event period or use their remaining balance down to zero. Depending on the type of proof submitted, the first 100 participants will receive either a 3,000 won coffee mobile voucher or a 24,000 won chicken mobile voucher.
After paying with the Culture Nuri Card, participants should scan the QR code on the event poster to access Gangwon Art & Culture Foundation's KakaoTalk channel, select the event menu, and submit their participation details and receipt. They may join regardless of whether they have taken part in previous balance-use events, but duplicate rewards for both the 10,000 won spending verification and the balance-use verification are not allowed. Winners will be notified individually on Oct. 2, and prizes are scheduled to be sent on Oct. 13.
