[Financial News] FRESH 365 will hold its September Tongkeun Day, focusing on seasonal autumn foods and products for preparing kimchi.
According to the industry on the 1st, FRESH 365 will offer discounts on major fresh foods, including fruits, vegetables, seafood, and meat, from the 3rd to the 6th. The event lineup also includes autumn fruits in high demand, such as Hongro apples, Campbell grapes, and gold kiwifruit, as well as vegetables like paprika, zucchini, and onions.
Ahead of the kimchi-making season, preorders for salted cabbage and dried red peppers will be accepted from the 3rd to the 9th. Although cabbage prices have remained high due to the summer heat, the company said it secured about 300 tons of salted cabbage through prior coordination with farms in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon State. It will also offer preorder sales of kimchi seasoning, dried red peppers from Gochang County and Sunchang County, and red pepper powder.
For seafood, the company will discount items such as blue crabs and salmon. For meat, it will offer discounts on Australian LA ribs and U.S. braised short ribs. To meet demand for autumn outings, the event will also feature convenience foods and processed foods such as chicken, fish cakes, dumplings, pork cutlets, and frozen pizza.
In household goods, the company will run buy-one-get-one-free or discount promotions on kitchen detergents, kitchen disposables, toilet paper, sanitary pads, and personal care products. During the event period, coupon offers and roulette events will also be available for customers on the FRESH 365 & Super GO app.
