Renault Korea launches updated Grand Koleos, unveils white edition 'Etoile'

[Financial News] Renault Korea announced on the 1st that it will launch an updated model of its midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV) Grand Koleos along with the limited White Edition 'Etoile.'
The key focus of the 2027 model, which marks its second anniversary since launch, is price. Renault Korea revamped the most popular mid-level Iconic trim and lowered the price by 450,000 won from the 2026 model. Instead of offering the convenience package as an option, the company made sound-insulating windshield glass standard and replaced the rearview mirror with a frameless type. It also adjusted the lineup to emphasize features that drivers can feel in everyday use. If customers choose the Head-Up Display (HUD), the solar windshield glass is also included. A new exterior color, Satin Nocturne Blue, has also been added.
The newly unveiled 'Etoile' is a limited edition named after the starlight seen in the Paris night sky, and it stands out with an all-white design. Based on the Esprit Alpine trim, it adds a range of exclusive features, including a Cloud Pearl body color, dedicated 20-inch two-tone Peak alloy wheels, and special interior accents.
On the same day, the company also said it will begin delivering the Techno trim of the mid-to-large crossover Renault Filante, first introduced in Korea in March, starting in September. Positioned at the lowest price point, the trim comes standard with advanced driver-assistance systems, full LED lamps, frequency-sensitive dampers, a 360-degree surround-view monitor, a power tailgate, unlimited 5G data, AI voice recognition 'A.Dot Auto,' and a three-zone independent full automatic air-conditioning system. However, the passenger-side display is excluded from the OpenR panoramic screen. The price is 43,949,000 won, before eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits.
