[Financial News] E-Mart will begin advance reservations for salted cabbage ahead of the Chuseok holiday. Customers who place orders through the Emart app will receive deliveries from the production area to their homes under the 'Order to Home' service.
According to the industry on the 1st, E-Mart will accept advance reservations for salted cabbage from the 3rd to the 9th. Reserved products will be delivered on a date selected by the customer between the 16th and 19th.
All of this event's supply consists of cabbage harvested from Anbandegi Village, a highland area near Daegwallyeong Pass. The company said it took advantage of the area's relatively cool temperatures even in summer and secured supply through direct contracts with the production area from the planting stage.
Along with salted cabbage, kimchi seasoning for both central-style and southern-style recipes will also be offered as an Order to Home advance-reservation item. Separately, to meet demand for holiday table settings, assorted jeon and mung bean pancakes will be sold through the 'Order Pick' service, where customers order through the Emart app and pick up the items in store. Holiday-related products such as pet hanbok and nutritional supplements will also be available through Order Pick.
Yoon Saem-i, a buyer on E-Mart's vegetable team, said, "This year, we prepared the salted cabbage through 'Order to Home' so customers can receive it more conveniently." She added, "We will continue working to offer reliable products at reasonable prices."
