In the new graduate recruitment track, the bank will select about 160 people across six categories: Universal Banker (UB), discharged or soon-to-be-discharged officers, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), specialized vocational high school graduates, and ESG inclusive growth.
The UB track will recruit candidates in two areas: corporate customer finance and customer asset management, and local talent. The hiring process will consist of document screening, a written test, and first- and second-round interviews.
To support balanced regional growth, KB Kookmin Bank plans to expand the local talent quota and hire more than 25% of all UB recruits from regional talent pools. Employees selected as local talent will work in their respective regions, provide financial services based on their understanding of local customers and businesses, and grow into regional sales specialists.
The bank will also recruit discharged or soon-to-be-discharged officers. It plans to select candidates with leadership and a spirit of challenge developed through military service. In addition, it will hire holders of the Korean Certified Public Accountant qualification for the CPA track, targeting those with professional expertise in accounting.
Recruitment will also be conducted in the ICT track to strengthen digital banking competitiveness. The ICT track will select candidates in two areas: Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and platform development. After document screening, coding tests, and interviews, the bank plans to hire talent capable of responding to technological changes in the financial industry.
The bank will also recruit for the ESG inclusive growth track, targeting people with disabilities, recipients of basic livelihood security, children from multicultural families, and North Korean defectors. It will also operate a specialized vocational high school track to provide job opportunities for soon-to-graduate students from vocational schools.
Separately from new graduate hiring, KB Kookmin Bank also plans to conduct ongoing recruitment for experienced professionals with expertise in various fields, including AI and law. The total hiring target is about 20 people.
Applications can be submitted through KB Kookmin Bank's official recruitment website until the 9th.
