[Financial News] The identity of a Chinese university instructor accused of killing a Chinese female student in Gyeongsan and mutilating and abandoning her body in several locations will be made public. Police said they decided to disclose his identity after comprehensively reviewing the seriousness and brutality of the crime, as well as the public interest.

According to the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency on the 31st, the Personal Information Disclosure Review Committee decided that day to release the identity of the Chinese university instructor in his 30s, identified as A, who is suspected of murder and other charges.
His name, age and photo will be released on the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency website starting at 9 a.m. on Sept. 1. The disclosure period will last 30 days.
A is accused of strangling and killing B, a Chinese female student in her 20s, at his residence in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province, in the early hours of the 20th. Police believe he then mutilated B's body and abandoned it in several locations.
After committing the crime, A is also accused of filing a missing-person report with police, claiming that B had not returned. Police believe he made the false report to confuse the investigation and also charged him with obstruction of official duties by deceptive means.
