[Financial News] Police have launched an investigation after a father in his 60s and his son in his 20s were found stabbed to death at an apartment in Cheongju. Investigators are examining the exact circumstances, including the possibility that the father fought with his son inside the home, attacked him with a knife, and then took his own life.
According to police on the 31st, a resident reported finding A, a man in his 20s, dead from stab wounds inside an elevator at an apartment in Seowon District, Cheongju, at around 1:37 p.m. that day.
While police were checking the scene, they also found B, A's father in his 60s, dead from stab wounds inside the residence.
Police believe B fought with A inside the home, then repeatedly attacked him with a knife in the elevator. They suspect B later returned home and inflicted fatal injuries on himself, and are continuing to investigate the exact sequence of events.
