【Jakarta, Indonesia = Reporter Aulia Maulida Hamdani】LG Electronics has renovated its Business Innovation Center (LG BIC) in Singapore for its commercial display business and will expand its digital transformation and solutions business in the Southeast Asian B2B market.
According to local media in Singapore on the 1st, LG Electronics Singapore said it recently officially opened the renovated LG BIC. The center will serve as a customer experience and validation space where corporate clients, system integrators, consultants, and resellers can evaluate and test products in real-world environments and jointly develop solutions tailored to their businesses.
The center showcases LG Electronics' commercial display lineup, including MicroLED, Transparent OLED, All-in-One LED, and LG CreateBoard. It also features an LED zone where visitors can experience indoor and outdoor LED solutions, as well as high-reliability displays for command and control centers and cloud-based software management platforms. These solutions are designed for a wide range of industries, including retail and food service, hospitality, education, corporate, transportation, and virtual production.
Particular attention was drawn to the LG E-paper Display 32RS1Q-B. The 31.5-inch e-ink screen features an ultra-low-power design, a built-in 72Wh battery, wireless power charging, and an ultra-slim 8.6 mm profile. It was introduced as a sustainable digital signage solution that can replace traditional paper posters in stores, businesses, and public facilities.
Beyond product displays, LG BIC will also serve as a hub for technical support and collaboration for local customers and partners. LG Electronics plans to strengthen local technical capabilities and its partner ecosystem by offering hands-on training in product installation, network management, software integration, and maintenance, along with system testing and joint development of customized solutions. The opening of the Singapore center is part of LG Electronics' strategy to expand investment in global B2B innovation infrastructure and improve its responsiveness to customers in each market.
