On the 31st, Kim Ho-chang posted a video from Lee Yong-joo's funeral home on social networking service (SNS). The video showed Kim Ho-chang and his acquaintances waving goodbye in front of Lee Yong-joo's portrait.
Kim Ho-chang recalled how Lee Yong-joo had once stopped him when he said he would quit acting. He wrote, "Yong-joo hyung. Not long ago, when I told the hyungs that I was done being an actor, you said this! 'Ho-chang, you’re going to do well. Please don’t give up, even if it’s just you, the youngest among the Geotap family. Keep going to the end. I trust my instincts.' I’ll trust you, hyung, and go all the way."

Lee Yong-joo died of a heart attack on the 29th. He was 44.
It was reported that the deceased had been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy during his lifetime. In an interview at the time of his appearance in tvN's military sitcom The Blue Tower in 2013, it was also reported that he had a medical history and had been exempted from military service.
