9,951 Housing Units to Be Offered by Mid-Sized Builders Nationwide in September, Up 115% from the Previous Month

The Korea Housing Builders Association said on the 31st that, after surveying its member companies on September housing sales plans, 18 companies are scheduled to supply a total of 9,951 units across 19 project sites nationwide.
That is an increase of 5,328 units, or 115.2%, from 4,623 units in the previous month. Compared with 4,026 units in the same month last year, the figure is up by 5,925 units, or 147.2%.
By region, a total of 7,669 units will be supplied in the Capital Region. Seoul has the most with 3,160 units, followed by Gyeonggi Province with 2,560 and Incheon with 1,949.
Outside the Capital Region, North Gyeongsang Province will have the most with 671 units. It will be followed by Busan with 314 units, South Chungcheong Province with 304, Ulsan Metropolitan City with 303, Gangwon State with 264, and Jeju Province with 45.
Among the major project sites, Seoul will see 988 rental apartments at 'Yongsan Wonhyo Lumini,' which is being built by Hyosung Heavy Industries. In Busan, a 314-unit condominium project supplied by Hoban Industries is also planned.
