Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety Supports Demonstration and Field Application of Smart Safety Technologies

[Financial News] The Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety will support developers of smart safety technologies with technology demonstrations and field deployment. It plans to link company-specific support programs, including use of the K-Testbed and technology escrow.
The Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety said on the 31st that it held the Smart Safety Council at SpaceShare Seoul Station Center on the 28th.
About 30 people attended the council, including representatives from companies specializing in smart safety technologies and staff from the authority's metropolitan, Gangwon, and Yeongnam regional headquarters.
Participants discussed support measures to prevent accidents at construction sites and improve the field applicability of developed technologies.
The authority introduced programs for developers, including links to technology demonstrations, use of the K-Testbed, and support for technology escrow. It also plans to expand cooperation with companies to apply advanced technologies at construction sites.
Jang Gi-su, head of the authority's metropolitan regional headquarters, said, "We plan to strengthen cooperation with specialized companies through the Smart Safety Council so that we can create a safer construction environment."
