Nepal search for missing Koreans shifts to ground and air operations as Doosan helicopter and government ground team depart

The ground search unit, made up of nine members from the National Fire Agency (NFA), plans to enter the Ramche area, just 1 to 2 kilometers from the accident site, by vehicle. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained, "Given the unstable local communications situation, the ground search unit is carrying a satellite phone while traveling so it can communicate smoothly with the main rapid response team remaining in Kathmandu.
" Search operations using helicopters have also resumed. Around 11:05 a.
m. local time in Nepal, a helicopter secured by Doosan Enerbility took off and was deployed to the search.
The helicopter rescue team plans to focus its search on the upper dam area near where the missing person was reported. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "We will do everything possible to rescue and search for the missing people by closely cooperating with local rescue authorities and related companies, while operating helicopter and ground personnel at the same time.
