MakinaRocks opens first regional base in Changwon, accelerating push into the Yeongnam region

[Financial News] Physical AI company MakinaRocks has chosen Changwon as its first regional base to expand contact with customers in the Yeongnam region. The company plans to seek partners that will join the spread of physical AI, focusing on areas where manufacturing clients are concentrated.
According to the industry on the 31st, MakinaRocks will open "AI Studio @ Changwon" to support and win new customers in the Yeongnam region, including Changwon, Geoje, Daegu and Ulsan Metropolitan City.
"AI Studio @ Changwon" is MakinaRocks' first regional base. It was established to quickly support major local clients such as Doosan Enerbility and Denso Corporation, while actively attracting new customers in manufacturing sectors including automotive, heavy industry and shipbuilding. The company will hire local talent for the Changwon base, provide training at its headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and then assign them to the Changwon site.
Youn Sung-ho, CEO of MakinaRocks, said, "In manufacturing sites, physical distance from customers is a mission-critical factor that directly affects response speed."
