[Financial News] Netmarble Corporation's content marketing subsidiary MNB is joining hands with academia to cultivate content talent. The company plans to strengthen cooperation in the content sector, including production support in regular classes.
According to the industry on the 31st, MNB signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with ChungKang College of Cultural Industries and Soonchunhyang University (SCH) to nurture practical content talent and collaborate on intellectual property (IP).
Based on the agreement, MNB will run a hands-on content production program using the global metaverse platform Roblox, linked to each university's regular curriculum. It plans to actively support students in planning and developing game maps and items using the Koongya IP by connecting its flagship IP, Koongya Restaurantz, with Roblox's IP licensing program.
With ChungKang College of Cultural Industries, the company will link regular classes with on-campus contests to help students gain experience in planning and producing diverse content using AI and the Roblox platform.
With Soonchunhyang University (SCH), it plans to continue cooperation in multiple areas, including support for content planning and production in regular classes, as well as discovering outstanding content and pursuing follow-up collaborations.
Baek Min-ho, CEO of MNB, said, "Starting with our partnerships with ChungKang College of Cultural Industries and Soonchunhyang University, we plan to gradually expand industry-academia cooperation with more educational institutions." He added, "We will focus on expanding the Koongya Restaurantz IP into a variety of content and strengthening its influence in the global market."
