Agricultural technology outreach since 1966... RDA publication reaches 700th issue

[Financial News, Jeonju = Reporter Kang In] The Rural Development Administration (RDA)'s publication 'Agricultural Technology,' which is issued to strengthen agricultural competitiveness, has reached its 700th issue.
According to the RDA on the 31st, the 700th issue of 'Agricultural Technology,' a publication aimed at agricultural research and technology dissemination, has been released.
'Agricultural Technology' is a bimonthly publication that introduces the RDA's latest research achievements, technology dissemination cases, crop-specific cultivation techniques, and agricultural policies. It began sharing practical field technologies in 1966 with the distribution of the 'Agricultural Technology Bulletin.' In February 1967, it launched the first regular issue of 'Agricultural Technology.'
The 700th issue includes new content such as the RDA's key priorities for the second half of the year and feedback from subscribers. It also features articles on building a silkworm production system, Jeju Black Pork, a new persimmon variety, an agricultural and forestry satellite, and an interview with a grape master.
Seungdon Lee, commissioner of the RDA, said, "We will work to make it a trusted and practical publication for farmers and a knowledge platform in the era of digital transformation, serving as a bridge between research and the field."
