Boseong County to Run '2026 Boseong Gourmet Academy'...Recruiting 60 Participants Until September 4

[Financial News, Boseong = Hwang Tae-jong] Boseong County will recruit 60 participants for the '2026 Boseong Gourmet Academy' until September 4 and provide training in online promotion and menu cooking using local specialties.
The academy is designed to respond to changing dining trends and develop competitive menus using local specialties from Boseong County. After the program, it is expected to strengthen the capabilities of local food service workers and improve the competitiveness of the local food culture.
The program is open to business owners and workers at general restaurants, casual dining establishments and bakeries in Boseong County. A total of 60 people will be selected, with 30 participants each from the Boseong and Beolgyo areas, and training will be conducted by region.
Training will run from September 11 to November 11 and will include sessions on management mindset, understanding the food safety-certified restaurant system, online promotion and marketing, menu development and cooking practice using local specialties, and visits to model food culture businesses.
The opening ceremony will be held on September 11 at Boseong Happiness Maru. The program will conclude on November 11 with healing education and a graduation ceremony, following a visit to a model food culture business on October 28.
Those who wish to participate can contact the Culture and Tourism Division of Boseong County or the Boseong County Restaurant Association Branch.
A county official said, "We hope this academy will provide practical training that helps food service workers improve their online promotion, hygiene management and menu development skills." The official added, "We will do our best to discover distinctive food content from Boseong and strengthen the competitiveness of the local food culture."
