[Financial News] Bizplay, a total cost management solutions company, said on the 31st that it participated in the 8th AI Government Innovation Conference, held on the 27th at the Government Sejong Convention Center, and showcased its artificial intelligence (AI)-based travel management solution.
Bizplay presented its AI-based travel management solution under the theme, "How AI is changing travel management at public institutions: from cost innovation to audit response," with officials in charge of informatization from government ministries, public institutions and local governments, as well as representatives from private ICT companies, in attendance.
As the presenter, Shim Woo-jin, head of Bizplay's travel business strategy planning division, introduced the current state and changes in travel operations, an overview of the solution and its use cases, as well as ways to apply the solution. In particular, the company drew strong interest from business representatives by showing how major domestic conglomerates and public institutions can handle the entire process, from travel planning and booking to settlement, in one stop, and how companies that have adopted the solution are seeing not only qualitative benefits but also quantitative results.
Bizplay's travel management solution, "bzp Travel Management," uses AI to recommend the best transportation option based on a traveler's schedule and purpose, and automatically suggests the lowest-priced flight when booking air tickets. During the settlement process, AI detects and blocks personal use or fraudulent claims in real time, preventing unnecessary spending and cutting related costs by up to about 40% even in audit work. Recently, adoption of the "bzp Travel Management" solution has been expanding in the public sector as well, following corporate clients such as Hyundai Motor Company, POSCO DX, and SeAH Changwon Special Steel, as well as the Ministry of Personnel Management's establishment of the "Smart Travel Booking and Settlement for Civil Servants" system.
Meanwhile, Bizplay, founded in 2014, specializes in travel expense management solutions. It is currently the country's No. 1 provider, serving more than 32,000 companies with B2E services covering travel, expense processing, welfare, meals and general affairs.
Seok Chang-gyu, CEO of Bizplay, said, "The results of public AI transformation should be proven not by the adoption of technology itself, but by how much it reduces time and costs in on-site work." He added, "Based on the operational experience we have accumulated in large corporations and the public sector, Bizplay will advance the entire process of travel planning, booking, settlement and auditing with AI, while improving both work efficiency and budget transparency at public institutions."
