Take a photo, and AI organizes the time and place for you

Later, instead of searching through each photo one by one when filing business travel expenses or making product inquiries, he uses 'A. log' to find related images with remembered keywords such as 'last month's business trip receipt' or 'air purifier warranty.' Through A. log, he was able to reduce the effort of rummaging through his smartphone photo album to jog his memory.SK Telecom said on the 31st that it will roll out the A. log feature in the A. app, which uses AI to organize photos taken with Meta Platforms' AI glasses and Android smartphones and make them easy to search again.
A. log is a feature that analyzes information in photos, then automatically creates titles, descriptions, and related tags. For example, if a user takes a picture of a concert poster, the system identifies the concert name, schedule, and venue, and organizes them into a single record.
Users can search saved records by time or keyword. By using AI-generated tags, they can also gather similar photos at once, such as business cards, receipts, meeting materials, parking locations, and posters.
The service also supports integration with AI glasses. If an A. user enables the automatic sync feature in the app, photos taken with AI glasses are recorded in A. log. It is available on all Meta AI glasses models, including Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2).
Smartphone users can use the feature by taking photos directly with the A. log camera or by importing images already stored in their photo albums.
Privacy protection features have also been added. If a photo contains sensitive information such as a resident registration number, AI automatically blurs it before analysis. The photos themselves are not stored on servers and are kept only on the user's device.
SK Telecom plans to expand the service in the future by linking A. log with 'A.dot Note' so users can view photos and memos together in an integrated record service.
A. log will be available on the Android operating system after the A. app update.
Jang Seong-guk, head of AI business development at SKT, said, "A. log is a feature that extends the usefulness of new devices that can capture moments quickly, such as AI glasses, into everyday record-keeping experiences." He added, "We will continue to enhance the A. service so customers can more easily save and reuse information in various forms, including photos and memos."
