Kang Hoon-sik to pay respects at Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae's father's funeral; conveys Lee Jae-myung's condolences

[Financial News] Kang Hoon-sik, Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Korea, will visit the funeral hall for Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae's father on the 31st to pay his respects.
A Cheong Wa Dae official said on the day, "Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik is scheduled to pay his respects today for the passing of Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae's father."
Cho's father, Jo Bu-hwan, died the previous day at the age of 93. The wake was set up at Pohang St. Mary's Hospital in North Gyeongsang Province.
Cho is said to have declined outside condolences, saying he would hold the funeral quietly with his family. However, Kang is expected to visit the funeral hall to honor the deceased, comfort the bereaved family, and convey condolences from President Lee Jae-myung.
