Global Sae-A Group Announces Executive Appointments... Kim Ki-myung Promoted to Executive Vice Chairman of the Group

According to Global Sae-A Group on the 31st, the personnel changes will also promote Kim, vice chairman of the group holding company Global Sae-A, to CEO of Global Sae-A and executive vice chairman of the group.
Kim, now executive vice chairman, joined Global Sae-A Group in 2007 as CEO of INDF after serving as head of Walmart Korea and CEO of Choesin Mulsan. He later held posts including head of SAE-A Trading's U.S. operations, CEO of Global Sae-A, CEO of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, and group vice chairman.
Global Sae-A Group said Kim is the right person to lead the group's restructuring and improve profitability, based on his broad experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as planning, finance, marketing, and human resources.
Shim Cheol-sik, CEO and head of the paper division at Jeonju Paper and Jeonju Onepower, will be promoted to vice chairman and CEO of the paper division. Shim joined the group's parent company, SAE-A Trading, in 1995. He later served as executive vice president in charge of management support at Tailim Paper, vice president in charge of management support at Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, and CEO of Global Sae-A. Since taking over as head of the group's paper division last year, he has focused on boosting synergy and profitability among the paper affiliates by promoting workforce exchanges, improving the cost structure, specializing the production system, and developing eco-friendly, high value-added products.
Lee Taek-joon, executive vice president in charge of future business and M&A at Global Sae-A, will be promoted to vice president. Yeo Sang-gu, managing director in charge of management support at Tailim Paper and Tailim Packaging, will move to SAE-A Trading as managing director in charge of management support.
