[Financial News, Daegu = Reporter Kim Jang-wook] Daegu Transportation Corporation is drawing attention as it pushes ahead with a win-win project that connects local businesses around urban rail stations.
Daegu Transportation Corporation, hereinafter referred to as the corporation, will run the 'Alley Commercial District DTRO Marketers Campaign' every quarter using its urban rail promotional resources to help revitalize local businesses and promote coexistence with the community. For the third quarter, it selected Deulangil Food Town near Suseongmot Station on Line 3 as the campaign target.
President Kim Gi-hyeok said, "I hope this campaign will give urban rail passengers a chance to discover local alley businesses and visit them in person." He added, "We will continue to strengthen cooperation with local organizations and businesses, actively share our urban rail promotional resources, and identify a variety of win-win projects that can contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
The corporation will run the campaign from Sept. 1 to 30 in cooperation with the Suseong District Food Hygiene Division and the Deulangil Food Town merchants' association.
It will produce promotional content for Deulangil Food Town and release it on its official social media channels, including YouTube and Instagram. It will also post campaign posters at all stations and install guide banners at Suseongmot Station on Line 3.
In addition, citizens who certify their visits to Deulangil Food Town will be entered into a drawing for prizes such as a four-item set of corporation character souvenirs and meal vouchers worth 20,000 won, limited to 16 businesses.
To participate, customers must submit a receipt or a verification photo after dining at a restaurant in Deulangil Food Town to the corporation's open KakaoTalk chat room, then indicate the station where they want to receive the prize.
During the campaign period, the '2026 Deulangil K-Food Festival' will be held in the Deulangil area on Sept. 19, and the corporation expects the campaign and the festival to further boost publicity for Deulangil Food Town.
Meanwhile, the Alley Commercial District DTRO Marketers Campaign is a project that uses the corporation's promotional resources to widely publicize alley businesses near rail stations, encourage citizens to visit them, and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
In the first quarter of this year, it selected Jibeom Food Alley near Beommul Station, and in the second quarter, Beomeo Sikjuga-mu Master Alley near Beomeo Station.
