He met with local regulators, including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY) and the New York State Department of Financial Services, and personally inspected the operations of global investment assets and the New York branch's sales activities.

He also visited global alternative investment managers and major investment assets to review operating conditions and business viability, while examining future prospects and risk factors.

Opened in 2013, the branch has expanded its business base around IB, corporate lending, and export-import finance, while building a stable growth foundation through continued strengthening of internal controls and risk management.
