"I Feel Blessed" ... G.NA Reflects on Her Return After 10 Years Following Prostitution Fine

[Financial News] Singer G.NA (G.NA, Jina Choi), who had been fined and suspended her activities over prostitution allegations, has reappeared after 10 years as the MC for a K-pop event in Canada.
On the 30th, G.NA shared photos and videos from her attendance at the "Kimchi & K-Food Festival 2026," held on the 28th at Coquitlam Town Centre in British Columbia, Canada, through her Instagram Stories.
At the event, G.NA served as a special MC and judge for the "K-POP Dance Championship." After the event, she posted photos and videos and said she felt "blessed." She also shared a post from an acquaintance that read, "Our pretty G.NA did such a great job."
Her appearance drew strong attention, as it marked G.NA's first public event stage in about 10 years after effectively halting her entertainment career.
G.NA, a Korean Canadian, debuted in 2010 and rose to popularity with hit songs such as "I'll Back Off So You Can Live Better" and "Black & White."
However, in March 2016, she received a summary order imposing a fine of 2 million won for violating the Act on the Punishment of Arrangement of Commercial Sex Acts, etc.
At the time, G.NA denied the allegations, explaining that she had met the man out of mutual affection rather than for money, but the court did not accept her explanation.
After effectively stepping away from the entertainment industry, G.NA also hinted in June at a remake of her signature song "I'll Back Off So You Can Live Better," signaling a comeback. With this Canadian event MC role, she appears to be making a full return to activity.
