Stray Kids' Rino Donates 100 Million Won, Saying He Hopes It Will Be a Small Help for Emergency Relief After Nepal's Massive Floods

[Financial News] Stray Kids' Rino has donated 100 million won for emergency relief for victims of Nepal's devastating floods.
According to his agency, JYP Entertainment, on the 31st, Rino donated 100 million won to the international relief and development NGO World Vision on the 28th. The money is intended to support the lives and livelihoods of children and families affected by the floods in Nepal.
Through his agency, Rino said, "I hope my heart can be a small source of strength for those going through difficult times." He added, "I sincerely hope that the flood victims and everyone working hard on relief efforts in the field can return to peaceful daily lives as soon as possible."
Rino began sponsoring children overseas through World Vision in 2014 and has continued to support underprivileged communities at home and abroad. In 2024, he donated 100 million won to World Vision's global food crisis response project for children in the world's poorest countries, becoming the youngest member of the Bob Pierce Honor Club.
Last year, he also donated 100 million won each to Samsung Seoul Hospital for treatment and caregiving costs for adult patients with severe illnesses and pediatric and adolescent patients, and to the cat rescue group Nabiya Cat Shelter for the rescue, treatment, and shelter operation of abandoned cats.
He also contributed funds together with other Stray Kids members to support recovery efforts from wildfires in South Gyeongsang Province and North Gyeongsang Province, as well as a fire in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids, the group Rino belongs to, is currently on its new world tour, Run It.
