Citizens stayed by a woman who collapsed at Oksu Station, giving first aid for more than an hour in the heat [Warm-hearted]

[Financial News] Citizens cared for a woman who suddenly collapsed in the transfer passage at Oksu Station on the Seoul subway for more than an hour.
According to Yonhap News TV on the 30th, a person identified as A, who said she was the woman's family member, described the scene in a social networking service Thread post the previous day and expressed gratitude to the citizens who helped.
A said she had planned to meet her younger sister at Oksu Station between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on the 27th, but the sister, who arrived first, did not answer her phone. Knowing that her sister occasionally faints, A grew anxious and searched the station. She then found a crowd gathered in the transfer passage for the Gyeongui–Jungang Line.
“The moment I saw that, I thought, ‘Oh, that’s my sister,’” A said. “I ran over in a panic, and a young man was checking her condition by taking her pulse, while a young woman was persistently trying to keep her from losing consciousness and helping her breathe.”
Yonhap News TV reported that the man helping the woman was a Korean medicine doctor, while the woman was an intensive care unit nurse. The transfer passage was sweltering, dusty and filled with heat, but they did not leave.
“The Korean medicine doctor even took off his jacket and bag and used them to support my sister’s head on the dusty floor,” A said. “Both of them kept her conscious for more than an hour, sweating heavily the whole time.”
She added that the people who stayed at the scene until the woman was loaded into the ambulance also explained the patient’s condition and what had happened in detail to paramedics.
Other citizens nearby also stepped in to help. They massaged the woman’s arms and legs, called the 119 emergency number, and fanned her. Another nurse and a paramedic who happened to pass by also reportedly joined the rescue effort.
One internet user who identified herself as a nurse left a comment on A’s post, saying, “My boyfriend and I were passing by when we saw the woman holding onto the wall and struggling. I’m a nurse, and my boyfriend is a paramedic, so we approached because we wanted to help.”
Another witness said that about six to seven citizens around the woman massaged her arms and legs, kept talking to her to check whether she was conscious, and stayed by her side while speaking with 119 until rescue workers arrived.
“I will never forget the kindness of strangers who stayed by my side for more than an hour in that hot place, on that dirty floor, willingly giving up their knees and their belongings as if I were their own daughter or sister, and worrying for me the whole time,” A said, expressing her thanks.
