Multiple Isolation Incidents Reported in Jeollanam-do and Gwangju Amid Heavy Rain; No Casualties

[Financial News] As stream water rose in parts of Jeollanam-do, residents and hikers were stranded in a series of incidents.
According to the fire authorities on the 30th, a report was received at 4:43 p.m. that five hikers could not descend Wolchulsan in Yeongam County, Jeollanam-do, because the stream had swollen. All five people stranded at the scene were rescued by firefighters.
Earlier, at 4:42 p.m., 11 people were stranded in Hancheon-myeon, Hwasun County, after roads were flooded by heavy rain, but they were all rescued without casualties.
As of 7 p.m. that day, the Jeonnam-Gwangju Fire Headquarters had received a total of 81 reports of damage caused by the rain.
Heavy rain warnings were in effect for Boseong County, Gwangyang, and Suncheon in the Jeollanam-do and Gwangju area, while heavy rain advisories were issued for Gokseong County and Goheung County.
