[Financial News]  Lee Hyoung-il, nominee for Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea and Minister of Finance and Economy, said on the 30th, "Our economy has moved beyond the time of recovery and normalization. It is now time for new challenges to make a great leap forward toward an 'irreplaceable Korea.'"
After being nominated for deputy prime minister that day, Lee said, "I feel an infinite sense of responsibility at being named the second deputy prime minister nominee since the launch of the Lee Jae-myung administration," and shared his thoughts.
Lee also said, "I will work to solidify the growth momentum our economy has achieved over the past year and three months, while creating new investment and growth opportunities through the Three Mega Projects and laying the groundwork for a rebound in potential growth."
He added, "I also plan to do my utmost to support livelihoods and address polarization, based on the policy room secured by the semiconductor boom, so that the benefits of growth can be shared evenly by all citizens."
