Shinsegae International's AMUSE Targets the U.S. Market... Enters Nordstrom and Target

[Financial News] AMUSE, operated by a subsidiary of Shinsegae International Inc., is entering offline stores in North America and stepping up its push into the local market.
According to Shinsegae International Inc. on the 19th, AMUSE will be introduced at 85 Nordstrom department stores in the United States on the 6th of next month. It will also officially launch in 611 Target stores on the 10th of the same month.
Through Target's new beauty-focused space, Target Beauty Studio, AMUSE will showcase 68 items, including Dew Tint and BANANA LIP OIL. Target Beauty Studio is a space that introduces premium and emerging beauty brands, and it operates in more than 600 stores and online.
AMUSE had discussed its entry with Target's headquarters for two years, including a visit by Target executives to AMUSE's headquarters last year. Target is a leading retailer that operates 2,000 stores in the United States.
With this launch, AMUSE plans to raise brand awareness in the U.S. and accelerate efforts to secure additional distribution channels.
It will take part in a media and creator event at Target's flagship store in Los Angeles on the 25th and 26th of next month, and will hold an influencer event in New York in mid-October.
An AMUSE official said, "The United States is a key market with the highest growth potential for K-beauty, and it is also a market we must target in order to grow into a global beauty brand." The official added, "We will promote AMUSE's unique brand identity and develop the U.S. into a key hub for our global business."
