[Financial News] A driver who was allegedly drunk and behind the wheel of a Maserati near Bangbang Intersection in Seocho-gu, Seoul, struck a motorcycle and other vehicles, killing one person, and is now facing an arrest review.
According to Suseo Police Station in Seoul on the 30th, police requested an arrest warrant for the Maserati driver, identified as A, at around 3 p.m. the previous day.
A is accused of driving the Maserati while intoxicated at around 11:40 p.m. on the 27th on a road near Bangbang Intersection in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and colliding with a motorcycle and two cars in succession.
The crash killed one motorcycle rider and injured three others, including the drivers of the vehicles.
The pre-arrest detention hearing for A is scheduled to be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Seoul Central District Court.
Police said they will respond strictly to drunk driving.
