At 10:30:13 a.m. on the 29th, a magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck 21 km northwest of Haenam County, Jeonnam-Gwangju, the Korean Meteorological Administration said.
The epicenter was located at 34.66 degrees north latitude and 126.40 degrees east longitude, and the quake occurred at a depth of 20 km.
The Korean Meteorological Administration explained, "Areas near the epicenter may feel seismic shaking. Please be careful for safety."
