[Breaking News] Foreign Ministry Says One Trapped Korean and Embassy Staff Member Also Evacuated to Safe Area in Nepal

[Financial News] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the 28th that one Korean national and one embassy staff member who had remained at a temporary shelter in Rasuwa District, Nepal, were evacuated to a safe area by a Nepal Army helicopter on the afternoon of the same day.
The Korean national evacuated this time is the site manager from Doosan Enerbility. On the morning of the 26th, a massive flood hit parts of Bagmati Province in north-central Nepal near the border with China, washing away nearby roads and leaving 10 Koreans from Doosan Enerbility stranded. Nine of them were moved to a safe area by a Nepal Army helicopter the previous day. The site manager reportedly stayed behind, saying he would remain until all local employees were rescued.
