[Financial News] Annie, a member of the group ALLDAY PROJECT, has shared an update after graduating from Columbia University. Annie is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Chair Chung Yoo-kyung.
Annie recently posted several photos on Instagram without any caption. The photos showed her traveling in a business-class seat on an airplane. She drew attention in May after photos surfaced of her studying with a notebook spread out on a small table in economy class. At the time, Annie was still a college student.
On the 12th of the same month, Annie uploaded a video to her social media account with the caption "D-7." In the video, she was wearing a light blue graduation gown and holding a mortarboard. Annie majored in art history and visual arts at Columbia University. She resumed her studies in the spring 2026 semester and continued her coursework during a break from ALLDAY PROJECT activities. She has now graduated.
News of her return to school was first shared in January through a fan communication channel. At the time, Annie said, "You were surprised, right?" She added, "I was told early last year that I could no longer extend my leave of absence, so I discussed it with the other members and the company in advance and made the decision then."
Annie then emphasized, "I had already earned a lot of credits before, so I only need to attend for one semester to graduate." She added, "Since it's until early May, that's about three and a half months... will you wait for me? In the meantime, I'll work hard at school, do a lot of music work in the United States, and post Day Off updates often, so don't worry too much."
