Heavy Rain Advisory Issued at 3 p.m. for Cheongju, Western Cheongju, and Southern Sejong City [FN Weather]

[Financial News]  As the area of heavy rain shifted to the central and southern regions of the country, heavy rain advisories were newly issued for Cheongju in North Chungcheong Province, Sejong City, Damyang County and Boseong County in South Jeolla Province, and western Gwangju. Meanwhile, heavy rain advisories in Changwon, Goseong County, and Busan were lifted.
At 3 p.m. on the 28th, the Korean Meteorological Administration issued heavy rain advisories for eastern and western Cheongju in North Chungcheong Province and southern Sejong City, and they took effect immediately. At 3:10 p.m., it added advisories for Damyang County, Boseong County, and western Gwangju in South Jeolla Province.
At the same time, heavy rain advisories that had been in effect for Changwon and Goseong County in South Gyeongsang Province, as well as eastern, central, and western Busan, were lifted. As a result, Busan was removed from the weather alert list.
The Korean Meteorological Administration urged residents in areas under heavy rain advisories to avoid riverbanks, underpasses, and other flood-prone areas, and to remain alert to flooding in low-lying areas and possible river overflows.
