Incheon National University Inspects Student Welfare Facilities, Including Cafeteria and Lounge, Ahead of Second Semester

【Financial News, Incheon=Reporter Han Gap-su】 Incheon National University conducted an on-site inspection of major student welfare facilities on campus ahead of the start of the second semester of the 2026 academic year, aiming to help students begin university life in a safe and comfortable environment.
On the 28th, the university said President Lee In-jae, along with the vice presidents for planning and academic affairs, personally toured the student cafeteria, male and female student lounges, the health clinic and seminar rooms. They checked facility improvements, management conditions and preparations for the new semester.
In particular, they focused on the safety and hygiene of the dormitory cafeteria, which was renovated during the vacation period, as well as its convenience for students. They also reviewed the management status of previously improved facilities, including the male and female student lounges and seminar rooms.
Ahead of the semester start, the university also strengthened hygiene management by washing bedding such as blankets in student lounges and organizing shared supplies and the interiors of the facilities.
Incheon National University plans to continue identifying areas for improvement through regular inspections of student welfare facilities and feedback from users, and to reflect those findings in facility operations.
President Lee In-jae said, "The environment of welfare facilities such as lounges and cafeterias that students use frequently is closely linked to their satisfaction with university life." He added, "I hope this inspection will help ensure that students' opinions are continuously reflected in facility operations and environmental improvements, creating a safer and more comfortable campus environment."
