[Financial News] Hana Bank has signed a comprehensive business agreement with Hyundai Mobis and Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) to support shared growth between large and small companies.
On the 28th, Hana Bank said that under the agreement, Hana Bank will contribute 24 billion won and Hyundai Mobis 6 billion won to KOTEC, which will provide guarantee-backed financing worth up to 500 billion won.
The support will go to partner small and medium-sized companies recommended by Hyundai Mobis. The funds will be used for research and development, facility investment, and working capital support to help stabilize their operations quickly.
The program will raise the guarantee ratio to 100% for three years and cut the guarantee fee rate by 0.4 percentage points. It will also fully cover the first year's guarantee fee.
Lee Ho-sung, president and CEO of Hana Bank, said, "The three companies will work closely together so that small and medium-sized companies with technology and potential do not lose opportunities to grow." He added, "We will continue to work to build a virtuous cycle of funding through expanded productive finance, while also supporting the recovery of the real economy and the growth of small and medium-sized companies."
