Companies and NGOs are continuing to work together to help children who skip breakfast because of financial hardship start the day in good health.
World Vision said on the 28th that it had received vitamin gummies from Natural Life for vulnerable children in South Korea.
The donation was organized to mark the 13th anniversary of the domestic launch of Natural Life's health supplement brand Alive and the brand's anniversary, "75 Day." It aims to give back to society the support and attention the company has received from consumers, while helping children who struggle to get proper nutrition.
The donated items will be distributed to children at 55 schools nationwide through World Vision's breakfast support program for children, Achim Meokgo. Natural Life has also expanded its efforts by donating supplies to World Vision's global water and sanitation campaign, Global 6K for Water, in addition to supporting children in South Korea.
Achim Meokgo is a program that provides school-linked breakfast support five days a week for children who skip breakfast because of family circumstances or other reasons.
Jeong Jae-hee, head of Natural Life, said, "It is meaningful to turn the brand's anniversary into an opportunity to give back to society the love we have received from our customers." Myung-Hwan Cho, chairman of World Vision, said, "I hope the donated items will help children start their day in good health," and expressed his gratitude.
